Interventions in the home stables

Many surgical procedures can be performed directly in your stable, as often as possible on a standing horse under sedation and local anesthesia. This saves your horse the transport and the risk of a general anaesthetic.

• Treatment of injuries and wounds of all kinds
• Removal of skin tumors, e.g., sarcoids
• Splitting of abscesses
• Biopsies to examine skin changes or in case of suspected tumor

Injuries: it's better to call early

Especially in cases of injuries to the legs and eyes, you should not hesitate. Even small wounds near joints or tendons can lead to serious, prolonged problems. If in doubt, please call us early once.

If an operation is necessary at the clinic

For larger operations, we work closely and trustfully with all the clinics in the region. We refer your horse, hand over all the results, and take over the post-operative care after consultation with the colleagues from the clinic, again in the stable.
