Pre-purchase examination (PPE) for horses - & purchase examination

Buying a horse is exciting—but it’s not a gamble. With a pre-purchase examination (PPE/AKU) from Dr. Nina Rödig, you can be sure that your new horse isn’t just good-looking, but also healthy. We follow the protocol of the Society for Equine Medicine (GPM) – carefully, transparently, and using state-of-the-art technology.

Why a pre-purchase inspection is worthwhile

  • Health Check: Many problems aren't immediately apparent.
  • Check suitability: Leisure, sports, or breeding – is this the right horse?
  • Cost control: A thorough PPE/AKU often saves a lot of money down the road.
  • Basis for negotiation: Findings provide transparency regarding the price.
