We thoroughly examine the eyes directly in the stable, without the stressful drive to the clinic. Depending on the findings, we proceed with one of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ophthalmoscope:<\/strong> the entire eye from the cornea to the back of the eye (retina)<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Spalt lamp:<\/strong> Cornea, lens, iris and ocular background<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Fluorescein test:<\/strong> makes the smallest corneal injuries visible<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Tonometer:<\/strong> measures the intraocular pressure, e.g. in cases of suspected glaucoma or ERU<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Ultrasound:<\/strong> Glass bodies, lenses, eye chambers and retina<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Laboratory samples:<\/strong> microbiologically, mycologically or pathologically<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Treatment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the findings, we target specific actions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>selected eye ointments<\/li>\n\n<li>Eye injections<\/li>\n\n<li>Tear duct flushing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All treatments are carried out under sterile conditions and as gently as possible. Early examinations help to detect diseases such as conjunctivitis, corneal defects, immune-mediated keratitis (IMMK), glaucoma, or ERU (eye disease).
